Hosting a child's birthday party is a fun and exciting experience. Selecting the right location is important. The location of the children's birthday party can even help set the theme for the party. Choosing a well suited location can also make or break the birthday party budget. There are many places around the Palm Beach County Florida area that are perfect venues for hosting a child's birthday party.

CiCi's Pizza: This all you can eat buffet is a great idea for a child's birthday parties on a budget. CiCi's serves an all you can eat buffet which includes drinks, salad, pasta, rolls, pizza, and yummy deserts. Pricing varies depending on which location you dine at, however the average is $5.95 per person. They serve a large variety of pizza including pineapple, ham and cheese, deep dish, BBQ, spinach alfredo, veggie, and chicken. The deserts include cinnamon rolls, apple pie pizza, and brownies. As part of my sons' 13th birthday we treated him and his friends to lunch at CiCi's. We were able to feed a party of ten for approximately $70.00. Coconut Cove Water park or Calypso Bay Water park: Fun in the sun is the key to a water park birthday party. Both parks are great places to host a child's party. Both parks offer a birthday party packages. The package all day passes to the park, a free adult pass for every paid child, rental of the air conditioned party room, a slice of pizza and unlimited fountain drinks and chips to all guest. Balloons and decorations are also provided. The package admission is $19.95 per child and you must have a minimum of ten guest to book the party at this rate. Both parks are fully staffed with lifeguards. Coconut Cove and Calypso Bay contain many water slides, playgrounds and wading pools. Patch Reef Park: Grab a couple footballs, basketballs, or soccer balls, then head over to Patch Reef park for your child's birthday party. There is many activities to enjoy while hosting your child's party at the park. The park facilities include softball fields, basketball courts, fitness trails, child's playground area, tennis courts, soccer fields public restrooms and eight covered picnic pavilions. There is also multiple open fields for the children to fun and play games in. All pavilions have their own charcoal grill for your use. Pavilions can be rented for a very reasonable fee of just $16.00 to palm beach county residents and $48.00 for non-residents. The park is located on the south end of palm beach county in west Boca Raton. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in park. Boomer's: This action packed fun park is located in Boca Raton. At Boomers kids can choose between many activities including go kart racing, miniature golf, laser tag, arcade games, bumper boats, and climbing the rock wall. They have party rooms to host your party in when its time to eat. All party packages include pizza, drinks, balloons, bonus points to be used towards other actives, and a party host. Their are several different birthday party packages to choose form depending on your budget and which activities you would like to enjoy. Packages start at $12.99 per person with a minimum of eight guest. One of the higher priced birthday party packages includes a wrist band for each guest to receive three hours of unlimited time on the go karts, bumper boats, mini golf and one laser tag session. Lion Country Safari: This fun filled safari animal park is located in Loxahatchee, Florida. It is home to over 800 different animals. Their biggest attraction is a four mile drive though wildlife reserve. They also have a walk through safari that is included with the party packages and general admission fees. The walk through safari area is home to many different birds, reptiles and mammals. They have a miniature golf course, paddle boats, a petting zoo, ferris wheel, a carousel, a flying elephant ride and many other attractions to choose from. There are two great child's birthday party packages to choose from. The less expensive of the two packages is the deluxe birthday party package. It is $26.00 per person, all children and all adults must pay. The premium party package is $30.00 per person. Both packages include admission to the drive through safari tour, admission to the walk though park, goodie bags for the kids, party plates and some decorations, your choice of three different lunch and ice cream for all guest and special gifts for the birthday child. The premium package also includes free rental of a 15 passenger van for the drive through safari and a ten minute animal presentation for your party. There is a minimum ten guest requirement to book a party and there is also a $50.00 non-refundable deposit that is required when booking the party. I suggest choosing the premium package this will allow most if not all of your party guest to ride together through the safari. Other vans and vehicle are available for rental if necessary. Planning the party in advance and booking a few months in advance is also important. Either package is great deal considering general admission to the park is an average of $24.00 per person. Another great adventure for the children would be to plan a safari camp out or cabin sleepover for older children.
