Great Places for Pizza Delivery and More in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Usually, when pay day rolls around, the fridge is empty, and my fiance and I are hungry. We love fast food, and we really love delivery. There is something about having someone bring you your food, already cooked and ready to eat after a long day at work, that is so great.

But if you order from a place with awful customer service and even worse tasting food, then the whole effort is a bust. If you live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, especially in the North Neighborhood - where it is hard to find places that will deliver to your residence - try these three great places that offer great food that will be delivered to your door.

Pizza House
I absolutely love Pizza House when I am looking for something a little bit different. Pizza House offers a great selection of appetizers, their artichoke and spinach dip, served with garlic bread is very tasty and great for those nights when you are hungry, but not hungry enough to eat a full meal. Their potato wedges and onion rings are great if you are craving something greasy and fried.

Besides for great appetizers Pizza House also offers many different chipatis, all are tasty and healthier than most foods you would have delivered. And if you can't find a chipati that sounds good to you, you can have any of their salads put in chipati bread. Pizza House's chipati is big enough for two decent sized meals or one "I'm starving" meal.

Besides for great options on their menu, Pizza House also offers great service. Every time that I call to place an order on the phone the person on the other end was polite, as were the drivers who made the deliveries. While Pizza House is one of the more expensive delivery options, it is well worth the few extra dollars it may cost to order from them when you take into consideration the unique food options and great customer service.

Cottage Inn
Cottage Inn pizza was very popular in the dorms when I lived in East Quad, and it is no surprise when you bite into their delicious pizza. Besides for great tasting pizza with many different flavored crust options, the Cottage Inn Stix are amazing, especially when you pair them with garlic butter dipping sauce.

If you are looking for a serving made for one rather than a serving made for many you might consider trying their delicious lasagna or a salad. No matter what you order for Cottage Inn you will definitely find your belly thanking you for filling it with something so delicious. While the customer service at Cottage Inn isn't as overtly friendly as the customer service at Pizza House, it is still friendly, and far from rude. So, if you are looking for great tasting food that is slightly more affordable than Pizza House you might consider giving Cottage Inn a ring.

NYPD (New York Pizza Depot)
I am a huge fan of mexican food, so I was thrilled when I found a chicken burrito on the NYPD menu. It is hard to find places that will deliver to North Neighborhood, so far away from downtown Ann Arbor, but NYPD will not only make the trip, they will bring you some delicious food.

Besides for a great chicken burrito, the also have some of the most wonderful tasting pizza, by the slice if you don't need a whole pizza, with some unique toppings. If you enjoy pizza topped with something other than pepperoni then try a slice of NYPD's sundried tomato pizza, or any of their other unique flavors of pizza. When you order from NYPD the food will taste great and the service will be friendly.
