Step back into the 1800's when you stay at the Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast, the first urban bed and breakfast inn in Denver. It is located in historic downtown Denver facing the peaceful Benedict Fountain Park is where this bed and breakfast is located. Its location is easy walking distance from many Denver sites such as the State Capital and the U.S. Mint.

Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast opened as a bed and breakfast in January 1987. It has 14 great rooms. Four of them are two-room galley suites named after famous artist. There are also 10 double rooms.

The Alexander Calder Suite is dedicated to the inventor of the mobile and kinetic art. The sitting room faces the park. For romantic evenings, it has a gas log fireplace. The separate bedroom has a king size bed with a bay window sitting area.

The Frederic Remington Suite is dedicated to the western artist and sculptor. Selected prints and sculpture are exhibited in the room. The bath has a cast iron antique claw foot tub/shower. In place of a formal sitting room, there is a small-enclosed porch with a deep-jetted hot tub private to the suite. It is located on the first floor and the porch gives access to the garden during the day.

The Norman Rockwell Suite is dedicated to the artist that captured the faces and actions of Americans. Located on the second floor the five-foot windows face the park in the sitting room. The sitting room also has a gas coal fireplace. A sliding pocket door secludes the bay window bedroom with its king size bed. The bath includes a deep soaker tub/shower.

The John James Auburn Suite is dedicated to whom many call the greatest bird painter ever. A cathedral ceiling in the sitting room stretches the width of the suite. Located on the second floor it has three window with a partial view of the city skyline The separate bedroom has a king-size bed and the bath includes a double washbasin and deep sunken, rectangular tub-for-two with three shower heads including one in the ceiling.

The Fountain Room, which was originally the Master bedroom in 1879 facing the park. Renovations include a two person jetted tub enclosed in a white and merlot marble alcove. It also has a matching double basin and vanity. The five windows allow for a view of Benedict Park. A four posted canopy queen bed with a feather mattress makes for comfortable rest.

The Tower Room is a large room built into the turret. It has bay windows with a view of the park and skyline. It has a European carved bed, which can be twin beds also. A writing desk is in the main area.

The Skyline Room has four windows; one has a colorful leaded glass insert. They give a partial view of the city skyline and garden below. An antique brass queen bed with a partial canopy and comfortable seating area are included. The bath has a two person fitted tub/shower.

The Rooftop Room is one of a kind. The French doors open to a private deck with a spectacular view of the city skyline. It also has a two person jetted spa and table for dining. A queen bed and walk in shower are included in this fourth floor room.
