Something to Drink with a Little Different Taste for the Game

Lets face it, not everybody wants to drink beer on game day, some people enjoy the alcohol and others would prefer a tasty, flavorful punch. Here are a couple of good punch recipes for the people in the crowd that want to be different. One with alcohol and one without so we can cater to everyones tastes! Easy to make punch recipes that you will want to use no matter what the occasion!

Scoring Pass Punch

3 pts. Cranberry Cocktail juice, chilled
1 qt. 14 oz. can pineapple juice, chilled
1 qt. ginger ale, chilled
1/2 bottle of pomegranate grenadine syrup
6 oz. vodka or gin

Mix all of the ingredients in a punch bowl. Make an ice ring in a jello mold with fresh whole strawberries in mold. Float in punch. Serves twenty five.

Superbowl 2010 Half time Punch

1 can frozen lime juice
1 can frozen lemonade
4 cans cold water
2 cups lime ice
2 cups chilled ginger ale
2 tsps. bottled lime juice
15 - 20 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in punch bowl and mix well, just before serving add ice cubes. For an option and a little splash of color you can serve in punch cups garnished with fresh mint or lemon leaves and a red cherry on stem. Serves twelve.

Sit back and enjoy the game with your friends and have some punch if you don't feel like a beer!
