Great Secret Santa Gifts

Holiday Secret Gifts

Julia Jean
I enjoy the Christmas season, even as it creeps upon us quickly, as it seems to do each year. Whether your doing a Secret Santa with a group from church, clubs to which you may belong to, or the workplace here are a 6 great ideas.

My favorite Secret Santa gift to give is an ornament. I love my ornaments that I have. Each year, when I decorate my tree, each one has a special meaning behind it. Hallmark is my favorite place to buy my Secret Santa ornament gift. Knowing the person you are giving it to, you can find many ornaments of interest to fit that person. Say, if the person you have to give your Secret Santa gift to likes to bowl, then you can find probably find an ornamnet that has something to do with bowling. You can also give one that would fit all and that being "Christmas 2009" Secret Santa ornament. The ornaments I have bought, run somewhere between $7.00 - $15.00 on average.

Another good Secret Santa gift that most people would like is See's Candy. You can get a gift certificate for $10 for a 1 lb. box of chocolate. If you like to personalize the Secret Santa gift, you can buy M & M's on line with special sayings you choose to have on the M & M's. That cost a little more. You can also even download a picture and M & M's will put that picture on the candy!

Secret Santa gifts don't have to be so expensive. You can go to Toys R Us, or a bookstore and buy pencils with the Secret Santa receipient's name on the pencils. We all need pencils at our desks. This way, he/she would know if someone "walked away" with their pencil. It happens all the time. No one does it with intent to do so. This also personalizes the Secret Santa gift as well. The pencils are just a few dollars.

Giving a calendar for the upcoming new year is also a great Secret Santa gift. Who can't use a new calendar? You can find them from $5 to $10 dollars. Again, you can buy them with special interests that the receiptient may like. There are some with beautiful scenic places, flowers, animals to name a few. THese are also available in bookstores and drug stores as well.

Who doesn't like a good cup of coffee? Or tea? A good Secret Santa gift is a gift card for Starbucks or any other coffee store. During the holiday season, they have Christmas coffee flavors come out. You can get them for $5 - whatever price you want to pay. This works well for those who love their coffee!

One more good but simple and easy Secret Santa gift, is to buy $20 of scratch off lottery tickets. The lotterys all do Christmas scratch offs for the holiday season as well. You can to suit your budget or limit set to the Secret Santa gift. Who doesn't like the thrill of receiving a fun way to see if you won a few dollars? If your lucky, maybe a lot more dollars.

These Secret Santa gifts mentioned are generic for anyone. They can be given to men or women. Enjoy your Secret Santa gift giving! Have fun finding out who has YOU!
