Valley View Mall is a great place to fill your bags and empty your wallet! The mall houses 4 superstores: JCPenney, Sears, Herbergers and Macy's. Each store has clothing departments for women, men, and children along with home departments. Jewelry is abounding at each store and you can find just the perfect gift for that someone special. Between these 4 superstores are so many other stores. Gap, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Maurices and Hollister are just a few clothing stores. There is a food court with delicious treats and my favorite place is Gloria Jeans Coffee! There are also many other fun stores to visit that include many art, shoe, jewelry and gift shops. When you are in La Crosse, you have to check out Valley View Mall, located just off Hwy 16, a few miles south of Interstate 90.
Just across the Mall lie many other shopping stores. A strip mall contains a Pet Smart, T J Maxx, Old Navy, and Shepherd's Voice, a Christian book store. This mall also holds many other fun stores such as Play it Again Sports, a specialty children's store, and a Fashion Bug.
A little farther north lies another strip mall which contains some more excellent stores to shop at! Kohls, Target and Hobby Lobby are located in a row. Best Buy is just around the corner along with an Office Depot. You can find any thing you are looking for around this corner!
The downtown La Crosse also has some excellent shops. I love to walk through the streets with a new surprise in each window. There is a stamping/ craft store that is awesome and I love to visit it each time. Rose Street Jewelers is also located downtown and has some exquisite diamonds. There is a hiking/canoe/biking outfitters store that has all the adventure equipment you could ask for. There are also gift shops, a music store and many unique shops downtown. To really get the idea of how awesome downtown La Crosse is to shop at, you need to come for yourself and see it all!
South La Crosse also has a small mall called Shelby Mall. This mall has a Shopko, Hallmark Store, an Ace Hardware, and several other small shops. There is a very conveniently located Culver's where you can complete your shopping with a delicious custard shake-turtle is my favorite!
All this talk about shopping is making me want to hit the streets with my list and ready for an adventure! Come shop La Crosse and you will keep coming back again and again! It is one unique town that has a friendly atmosphere and amazing beauty!
