Do you love great jazz music? Well for many years you were out of luck for hearing jazz music during the Christmas holiday. That trend however is slowly changing. More and more jazz artists are putting out great jazz collections of Chritsmas music. Impress all your friends and familiy at the party this year by suggesting some of these great titles.

Kenny G- Miracles. In 1994 Kenny G took his superstardom to the next level by releasing "Miracles" the holiday album. This is a beautiful album that covers classics like Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, Silent Night and Away in a Manger. This album is full of Kenny G's signature sound. If you like Kenny you will love Miracles.

Boney James Christmas Present- This second Christmas Album by Boney James is without a doubt his best. It is full of the funky sound James is know for, only it has a holiday twist with it. James calls on the likes of Anthony Hamilton and Chante Moore to help him on this CD. The Standout track is without a doubt a collaboaration with Angie Stone titled "Merry Christmas Baby."

Kirk Whalum -The Christmas Message- Kirk Whalum has made a name for himself as one of the smooth jazz elites. His album the Christmas Message is full of his smooth laid back sound. All the tracks are songs dedicated to the true 'message' of Christams. Standout tracks include "The First Noel," "O Holy Night," and "We Three Kings." This is truley a smooth jazz classic when it comes to Christmas Albums. A must have!

Dave Koz- Smooth Jazz Christmas- Dave Koz is truly one of the best in smooth jazz. He has taken his amazing talents and put them into a great Christmas album. Koz is joined on this album by some of the best artists in jazz including Peter White, David Benoit, and Rick Bruan. The Album covers such classics as "White Christmas and Hark the Hearld Angles Sing. A standout album.

Ella Fitzgerald-Ella Wishes you a Swinging Christmas- This is an oldie but goodie! Ella Fitgerald is truly one of the greats in Jazz music. The album has a few 'corny' arrangements, but overall the 18 tracks will make any holiday party lively.

Christmas Botti- December- This 2006 release by jazz trumpter Botti is one of my favorites. You might be swinging through Winter Wonderland or flying above the strings of Ave Marie. Whatever the case this album is sure to please!

Show off your knowlede of jazz by playing one of these great albums at your holiday parites.
