They are just as well for entertaining of just two and for that matter none of them are too difficult to fix just for yourself. Summer is the perfect time to experience new taste and a change from your regular cocktail. It's kind of like food, sometime you get bored and tired of the same thing over and over. Some people get in a rut when it comes to drink selection. They have a few that they like and stand by their simple beer, but this isn't any way to enjoy those warm summer evening. Making a change to a totally new to you cocktail will be exciding for you. You will find yourself more open to trying other new cocktail. Before you know it you'll have a book of new cocktail recipes.

The first cocktail I have selected is Vodka - Thyme Lemonade. This is a twist on a Vodka Collins. The lemon, vodka and soda sugar pair well with Asian foods. Click here to see the cocktail. Click here for the recipe and directions.

Next up is the Gentlemen Johnson. This drink is famous for launching the career of jazz with Dinah Shore. The Gentlemen Johnson was once served by a stately hotel bar. Click here to see the cocktail. Click here for the recipe and direction.

Limoncello Collins One of the most likely names to be used after the 19th century bartender John Collins of London's Limmer's Hotel. The Tom Collins was originally made with Old Tom, a sweet style of gin that's extremely hard to find today. Click here to see the cocktail. Click here for the recipe and direction.

Next we have the Kentucky Cousins. It is thought to be created at the Town Talk Diner in Minneapolis; the Kentucky Cousins has distinctly southern components: mint, bourbon and iced tea. Click here to see the cocktail.Click here for the recipe and direction.

The last cocktail I would like to offer is the Watermelon Coolers. Bronson Van Wyck borrowed this recipe from his friend Susan Mason, a caterer in Savannah. It is both potent and refreshing, at the same time. Click here to see the cocktail.Click here for the recipe and direction.
