Possibility #1: PMS Attacks
Okay ladies, you knew I had to squeeze this one in, didn't you? Well, hey, admit it, it's true. When you're feeling a bit cranky, a little chocolate can take away the blues. Keep a small zippered baggie in your purse at all times. This is your secret anecdote. Use it wisely.
Possibility #2: Long Grocery Store Trips
Kids fighting? Running out of tricks to keep them entertained? Maybe someone's just hungry from staring at all that food, for what seems like forever in a day. Well, just whip out your secret baggie of chocolate chips and voila! Now you've got an instant kid quieter, hunger soother, cranky take-awayer. Neither AC nor the author is responsible if your chocolate melts into a congealed mess inside your purse. Next time, keep the baggie shut and pack an ice pack. Duh!
Possibility #3: Diabetes Attacks
This only works for diabetics who have low blood sugar, not those who have high blood sugar. Be careful with this one. So, if you or someone else you know is having a diabetes attack and cannot get to their insulin, try these chocolate chips, if it's the only thing handy. I've seen it work. However, if it's a true emergency, the best advice is to call 911 immediately. If it's mild, go ahead and try the chocolate chips.
Possibility #4: Argument Healer
Did your husband or wife do something wrong? Guilt your way into a free bag of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Chips. Then, don't let them have any. I can't guarantee it will solve your relationship woes, but, hey, you'll get a free bag of chocolate chips. Note to readers: The author hasn't actually tested this one out yet, so proceed with caution. The author's husband has bought many bags of these magical chips, but not under stressful conditions. Use at your own discretion.
Possibility #5: Bingo Pieces
Okay, so this one's stretching it a bit. But, for a fun family game of Bingo, use chocolate chips, instead of Bingo chips. When the game is finished, each person can eat their Bingo chips. That way, you'll have less pieces to clean up and put away and you won't have to prepare any snacks afterwards.
Please note that the author is highly addicted to Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Chips, so she may not be thinking clearly with these suggestions. Oh, and she's open to new suggestions for use as well, so please leave your suggestions in the comments section for her. She needs more excuses, oops, she meant uses, for these tasty chips.
