The consistency of Great Value Butter is the same as any other brand. Many people complain about butter because it's hard to spread. If you want a product that is easy to spread, just allow it to come to room temperature. It will then spread easily without tearing your bread.

I would have to give Great Value Butter 5 stars. I love this product because it's affordable, but has the same great taste as brand name versions.
