We have also tried the directions on the package for the soup. It is perfect when you follow the directions, but you have to think that you add four cups of water, so it is diluted down more than the dip was.

I still buy this and use it to make the dip, but I use more sour cream. Also I like the fact that one cup of the prepared soup is only 25 calories. Just remember that it is salty if you follow their dip directions.
