This series of four man made falls, by artist Olafur Ellasson, add a sense of power and majesty to New York Harbor. These falls can be found at Governors Island, the Brooklyn Anchorage of the Brooklyn Bridge, Between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn and at Pier 35 in Manhattan. These spectacular pieces of public art will run from June 26 to October 13, 2008. They will be lit after sunset. Hours are limited, with the falls being shut off after 10:00 P.M.
