Once you park your RV or get settled in your cabin, the fun is right at your door. This campground features a pool, playground, horseshoes, basketball, hiking trails and more. Lake Bluff is close to Chimney Bluff State Park, one of the most awe inspiring pieces of scenery on Lake Ontario. Lake Bluff Campground is also near historic Fort Ontario. Association Island RV Resort and Marina

Truly a destination unto itself. Just driving the causeway into Association Island RV Resort and Marina will let you know you are someplace special. This waterfront campground, in the 1000 Island region, caters to RV campers and boaters. This campground in Henderson Harbor, New York features 350 RV sites with 70 for water front camping. New York State Parks

If you prefer your water front camping experience on the more primitive side, New York State Parks have a lot to offer. There is something in the enjoyment of nature unencumbered by the hustle and bustle of more built up campsites. New York State Parks offer a chance for bird watching, flora and fauna, sunrises and sunsets. Some of the more interesting parks include the George W. Wehle State Park, New York states newest. This 1,100 acre state park has some of the most spectacular shoreline on Lake Ontario. George W. Wehle State Park is located in Henderson, New York. Another great state park on the water front is Southwick Beach State Park, also located in Henderson, New York. Southwick Beach is known for its long, sandy beach. It is adjacent to the Lakeview Wildlife Management Area. Opportunities for hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing abound.
