In today's economy it is becoming increasingly difficult to be able to afford to buy the latest and greatest video games. Fortunately as video games get a year or two older they become available used for much cheaper than the initial price of $60. Here is a quick list of five of the best and cheapest games available now.

1. Mass Effect: This game is RPG set in the plot of a science fiction epic. With fun gameplay and an amazing story Mass Effect is well worth the cheap price of less than $10 on eBay. Although not without its problems, Mass Effect provided a great storyline with tons of replay value.
2. Crackdown: A game once thought of only as a ticket to the Halo 3 Beta, it quickly proved to be an great experience by itself. With open-world gameplay and RPG aspects you start as quite weak but by the end of the game you will be able to leap buildings and cut through enemies with ease. This cheap game also provides tons of replay value for the price of 8$ used on eBay.
3. The Orange Box: This is a game thought of as a great value even when released at full price due to its inclusion of 5 full games. With Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episodes 1 and 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 it was seen as an amazing value at $60. Portal was one of the most memorable games I've ever played with its combination of humor and clever puzzles (The cake is a lie!). Nowadays it can be had cheap for less than $10 on eBay.
4. Bioshock: Recognized by many as one of the best games released this generation for its great atmosphere and amazing plot. Its gameplay was also extremely fun due to its combination of plasmids and firearms. It also featured one of the most iconic enemies to ever be featured in videogames. All this can be had for the cheap, cheap price of $15!
5. Oblivion: Bethseda's first next gen game, this stunned gamers everywhere with the expansiveness and scope. You didn't even need to follow the main storyline to have hundreds of hours of gameplay. If you have played their most recent hit, Fallout 3, just imagine that without VATS and with medieval weaponry. This cheap game is available on eBay for about $15.
