Green Bay Bikini Clad Fans and Other Famous NFL Fans

Notable NFL fans and bikini clad Green Bay Packer fans: The temperatures were almost unbearable in Green Bay on Sunday for the NFC Championship game, that is, of course, unless you are a die-hard Packers fan.

Thousands of fans braved the cold in Lambeau Field where temperatures went down to 3 degrees farenheit, and that doesn't even include the -24 degree wind chill. While these fans were willing to endure the cold to see their team play in the big game, some were willing to do a little more to show their team spirit.

During the game some Green Bay Packers fans were seen wearing bikinis in the stands during the very well below freezing temperatures. If this doesn't say die-hard fan I don't know what does.

There are also some other notable NFL fans across the nation. The Hogettes are famous in Washington, DC because they come out to support their team, every Sunday, in women's dresses, garden party hats and pig snouts. The Hogettes do this to show their team spirit, but also to raise money for charity.

The group was founded in 1983 and has 12 current and 15 former members. Three of the members have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the VISA Hall of Fans.

To date the Hogettes have raised over $100 million for US charities like the Children's Miracle Network and March of Dimes.

Another very notable NFL fan is the Broncos' Barrel Man. Tim McKernan, 67, has been showing up to Broncos' games in a barrel panted with the Broncos famous orange and blue colors for 30 years. He has said that he is going to call it quits after this NFL season. McKernan has been out their at Mile High Field and Invesco Field regardless of the weather or the temperature.

Another famous group of fans is the Cleveland Dawg Pound. The Dawg Pound is the name of the bleacher section in the east end zone in Cleveland Browns Stadium. The fans who sit in this section are known to be some of the most devoted and rabid fans of any team on the planet.

The Dawg Pound got its name in 1985 from Hanford Dixon, a former cornerback for the Browns, who called him and his teammates Dawgs. The Dawg Pound was born at the 1985 Cleveland Browns training camp and has since moved into a new stadium and even got through the moving of the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore, eventually being replaced by an expansion Cleveland Browns franchise.
