Aaron Rodgers & Green Bay Packers May Be Getting Hot Just in Time for NFL Playoffs

The Green Bay Packers muscled their way into the NFL Playoffs with a victory over their NFC North rivals the Chicago Bears. They will face the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday in Philadelphia's Lincoln Field. Aaron Rodgers has suffered two concussions this season and his offensive line was responsible. If the Philadelphia Eagles can blitz and force the pace with the Green Bay Packer sit should be an even playing field.

Will Aaron Rodgers Pick Apart Defenses in NFL Playoffs?

Aaron Rodgers struggled in the Green Bay Packers play in game against the Chicago Bears but it was not all his fault. There were several key drops by Greg Jennings in the game that would have made the victory more decisive but in the end Rodgers and the Packers prevailed.

Aaron Rodgers did not have one of his best games of the year against the Philadelphia Eagles in their first meeting. He passed for 188 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-27 victory. In that same game Ryan Grant went out with injury and Brandon Jackson took over. The two combined for 108 yards. Answer: Aaron Rodgers will not pick apart teams in the NFL Playoffs this year.

Brandon Jackson's first game of the season as the Green Bay Packers running back was against the Philadelphia Eagles and he gained 63 yards on 18 carries but he did not find the end zone. The Green Bay Packers like to mix in fullback John Kuhn into the running game but he is not the type of back to break off a big run. Kuhn is the perfect fullback. He pounds it inside and creates holes for his running back Jackson. Answer: The Green Bay Packers will establish a running game in the NFL Playoffs but it will not be enough.

Will Green Bay Packers be Susceptible to a Good Running Back in NFL Playoffs?

The Green Bay Packers are giving up 115 yards per game in the regular season. This is average among NFL teams and the 3-4 defense employed by the Packers may be a factor in their average run defense. Clay Mathews is a solid pass rusher and he is good falling back into coverage but not the best run stopper on the Green Bay Packers defense. Answer: The Green Bay Packers are susceptible to giving up big run plays and big games by good running backs.

Is Green Bay Packers Pass Defense Among Best in NFL Playoffs?

Charles Woodson is one of the best corners in the NFL which leads to quarterbacks attacking the other side of the field. The Green Bay Packers Tramon Williams is the opposite corner of Woodson and he has benefited from the lack of respect. Williams has six interceptions this season and has developed into a solid compliment to Woodson. Answer: The Green Bay Packers do have the best pass defense in the NFL Playoffs and the New Orleans Saints are a close second.

The Green Bay Packers enter the NFL Playoffs after a rough season. Aaron Rodgers has suffered two concussions, Jermichael Finley and Ryan Grant suffered season ending injuries. This team has suffered through one of their worst injury spells in years and now they have adjusted as they begin the NFL Playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers will not make it out of the NFL Wild Card Playoffs this season. They are matched up against the Philadelphia Eagles and although they did win their game in the beginning of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles gave their best players a rest in the final week of the regular season. The Green Bay Packers will be eliminated from the NFL Playoffs by the Philadelphia Eagles.
