Around 11:40PM EST on Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers traded Brett Favre to the New York Jets. This move was somewhat of a surprise, and details of the exact deal were not released to the public initially. Favre is a fantastic fit in the New York Jet's system, and should immediately become the starter in a depleted QB unit. Time will tell how he responds to the New York media, but he can undoubtedly still play football.
