Green Bean Casserole
Who eats the Green Bean Casserole at dinner?
It sounds sticky and mushy and incomplete.
Whoever made this a tradition is a sinner.
Instead, spend all your chewing on the meat.
Green Beans are only good when they are fresh.
Casseroles call for that aluminum can,
and they come out all squished and a mess.
Green Bean Casserole is as bad as Spam.
Cream and smushed beans is not appealing.
Buy fresh or spend more time on your yams.
After eating Green Bean Casserole your stomach may be reeling;
so throw the rest away in the closest garbage can.
Make a great turkey and homemade cranberry sauce,
try a salad from the farm market or asparagus spears,
without Green Bean Casserole you won't feel a loss.
Enjoy pies and stuffing and there will be no tears.

I can eat it, but only if it's mostly those onion things. I hate when those are only around the edge. Pile those suckers on there! Haha! :)
