Looking for a way to removal tough spots and stains in your home without the use of harmful products or methods? Here are some refreshing tips that will keep your house clean, naturally.

Removal of Household Mold

Fill a spray bottle with one third of hydrogen peroxide solution and two thirds water and the mold affected areas. If applied in the shower or tub, wait for at least one hour before rinsing or taking a shower.

Removal of Carpet Stains

Combine equal portions of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray directly onto the stain and let the solution sit for several minutes before cleaning the area with a brush and warm soapy water. For heavier stains, create a mixture of 1/4 cup each of salt, borax, and vinegar. Rub the formula into carpet and leave let it sit for few hours before vacuuming it up.

Removal of Markings and Stickers on Walls

Baking soda on a damp sponge can remove ink spots, pencil, crayon, or marker spots from wall surfaces. For stickers on walls, apply some vinegar on a sponge and go over the sticker(s) several times. Wait for about fifteen minutes and then proceed to rub off the stickers. This trick is also effective on price tags with sticker backing affixed on items.

Removal of Mildew

Apply white vinegar or lemon juice on a sponge or a scrubber and proceed to remove trouble spots.

Removal of Oil and Grease Spots

For fresh grease spots on carpets or fabric flooring, sprinkle some corn starch on to the affected spot and wait up to half an hour prior to vacuuming. For small oil and grease spots on the garage floor, sprinkle some baking soda on the spot(s) and proceed to scrub the area with a wet brush.

Removal of Rust

First, sprinkle some salt onto the rusted area. Then squeeze a lime over the salt until the salt is well soaked. Leave the mixture to sit for about two to three hours. Use the leftover solution to scrub the area afterward.

Removal of Lime Deposits

To remove lime deposits on bathroom fixtures, squeeze some lemon juice on to the affected area and let the solution sit for a few minutes prior to wiping the area clean.
