Green Irish Tweed by Creed Review: Is This Cologne Worth the High Cost?
A Popular Men's Scent that Celebrities Love
Green Irish Tweed by Creed emerged on the market in 1985 and has remained a popular men's cologne since. In fact, many celebrities such as Robert Redford, Cary Grant, and Richard Gere made Green Irish Tweed by Creed a well selling fragrance since they all of acknowledged that it remains a favorite to them. However, is this fragrance: Green Irish Tweed by Creed worth the high cost?
Green Irish Tweed by Creed Review: The Product & Packaging
Green Irish Tweed by Creed comes in a white colored box with a gold box label in the middle of the packaging. Green Irish Tweed by Creed is printed inside the gold label. The cologne bottle of the fragrance is black with a chrome top. Creed is in huge chrome letters followed by an X below. Green Irish Tweed is towards the bottom of the bottle and is also in chrome lettering.
Green Irish Tweed by Creed Review: The Fragrance
The top notes of Green Irish Tweed by Creed are: lemon and verbena. The middle notes of the cologne are irish and violet leaves followed by mysore sandalwood and ambergris for the base notes of the fragrance. The fragrance smelled a lot like the ever popular Cool Water Cologne for men. Green Irish Tweed by Creed is a very clean and refreshing cologne fragrance. The cologne is appropriate for all men of ages and for both day and night time use. This is definitely a fragrance that a person will either love or hate due to the "fresh" and "clean" aromas in the cologne.
Green Irish Tweed by Creed Review: Conclusion
Green Irish Tweed by Creed has no odd base notes that make it repulsive. The packaging and the cologne bottle of the fragrance itself is nothing trendy; thus, more of a contemporary and elegant design. The cologne smells very nice; however, it may need to be acquired after some time to many people to appreciate. It's a very positive and uplifting fragrance that I would highly recommend for those seeking a men's cologne that is a well rounded use fragrance. The cologne lasts roughly four hours through out the day and may need to be touched up. Green Irish Tweed by Creed is not cheap priced cologne. The scent is widely available in pricier department stores but may be found at discount prices on Ebay and other online venues at around $50 for a 4 ounce bottle of the fragrance.

Post a CommentI just bought this for 140$, I've smelled it before and I recommend doing so before ordering it, but it smells a LOT like Davidoff Cool Water, just richer and deeper and less alchohol bite.
Want to smell like this without the extra money to spend? Buy Cool Water. Most people probably couldn't tell the difference.
$50 on eBay?
It's $250 at the local Nieman Marcus, and about $125 on eBay.
hi.try lacoste essential it last too long !
Without a doubt Creed is a classic scent and does last long but you have to get the Eau De Parfum which is an loil base extract and much more concentrated than the Eau De Toillette which is alcohol based. This distinction is very important. The Eau De Parfum is sold by limited stores and some authorized Creed retailers eg. perfumeraffty. The Green Irish Tweed EDP last some eleven plus hours.
CREED IS CLASSY.IT SMELLS LIKE COOL WATER.BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE,THAT SYNTHETIC SMELL LIKE COOL WATER.IT SMELLS MORE NATURAL.BUT DOES NOT LAST LONG.
