Make Money While Helping the Environment

What Is It?

You may have seen their bright yellow and green dumpster type collection bins at schools, or in the parking lot of your local non-profit. In exchange for all your waste papers, The Paper Retriever Recycling Program provides you with a collection bin, as well as materials to education your group about what and how to recycle so that you have ready-made materials to support your paper collection efforts.

Who Can Benefit?

Everyone who recycles in a Paper Retriever collection bin can benefit. By recycling newspaper, mail, magazines and catalogs more paper is kept out of landfills, which saves precious resources like water and energy by reducing landfill use. For the at home recycler, Paper Retriever is a dream come true. They take far more types of paper than many local brick and mortar recycling drop off collection centers, and you don't have to sort it out.

Regardless of the type of paper, as long as it's listed on the Paper Retriever Dynamics and accepted list of materials, all goes into the same bin. There's no sorting, so it makes recycling easier, faster and more efficient keeping paper people would otherwise toss in the trash. The Paper Retriever Recycling Program currently serves locations in the United States from Texas to Massachusetts, as well as Ontario, Canada and is continually adding new regions.

Who Earns The Cash?

The participating organization, whose property the Paper Retriever Collection bin is located on, benefits from the proceeds of the collected paper. For the organizations recycling efforts, Paper Retriever provides the collection bin, bin placement, maintenance and will collect regularly all at no charge to the participating group.

How Does It Work?

Once the organization has signed up, Paper Retriever places a bin on the property. The organization then passes out the free materials to their supporters, asking for paper donations and letting people know about the collection bin. Paper Retriever schedules a pick-up based on the volume of paper collected and their trucks weigh the contents of the collection bin with their on-board computerized scales. The participating organization earns revenue based on the weight of the paper collected.

How Do I Sign Up?

All you have to do is visit the website, and use the handy Paper Retriever form to get more information. You can also watch the handy Paper Retriever video. Remember, not only will you be helping reduce waste, but you will also be helping your community. Even though it will be your organization that is collecting, often the Paper Retriever bins draw paper donations from outside your membership group. Recycling with the Paper Retriever is an easy way to better the earth, the community, and earn cash while you're being environmentally conscious.
