The first thing that you see on the label is magnesium. Magnesium is required in the body to help with the enzymes that utilize ATP (creatine increases ATP function, see how those go hand in hand?) If you are concerned that you may get the runs using Green Mag don't worry. Their original formula did have too much magnesium for some people but they recently reformulated it to get rid of those problems. And also according to wikipedia.org, 32% of humans have a magnesium deficiency and taking Green Mag daily will give you 88% of the recommended daily level by itself!
Betaine Anhydrous when combined with the creatine in Green Mag helps to kill lactic-acid buildup (thus increasing endurance), and orders the body to switch to fat stores for energy. The tyrosine and l-taurine also work with the betaine anhydrous to get fully pumped, provide energy, increasing cell volumization and antioxidant support.
Review Summary:
Taste: 9/10 - When mixed with 10oz of water the sour apple taste is strong but tastes as close to sour apple in supplement form as you could get! When mixing it with 20oz of water the apple taste is more subtle but still very tasty. I prefer to mix it with less water.
Mixability: 10/10 - Green Mag easily dissolves in water upon vigorous shaking. There is no clumps that makes it hard to drink.
Effectiveness: 9/10 - Pumps are strong when taking it pre-workout and I can feel an increase in strength and stamina during my workout compared to when not taking it. I have tried this enough times that I know it is not placebo effect.
Price: 8/10 - It can be found in the $35-$40 range for 80 servings.
Overall grade: 90% - Green Magnitude is an excellent creatine that not only does what it says it will do but also does it at a great price!
