Green October Volume Six - Celebrating Contemporary Nigerian Artists
An Opportunity to Sample Some of the Best Contemporary Nigerian Artists Free of Charge
Tribe X Entertainment has also marketed, promoted and sponsored many historical events in the Washington DC Metropolitan area including Nollywood movie premieres, African international beauty pageants, fashion shows, soccer tournaments. Dedicated to making a difference on the continent, they have also worked with non-profit organizations like Shaping Destiny, African Women's Cancer Awareness Association (AWCAA), and Nylah Feeds the Children.
Green October's dynamic duo are Harry Baba (Tribe X Entertainment) and Dj Manixx (Hottest Coalition of Nigerian Dj's). Together they have put together collections of some of the hottest music on the African continent today. Many in the Diaspora agree that these musicians are indeed a very talented group. Some of the artists on the latest album include D'banj, M.I. (arguably one of the better rappers on the African hip hop scene today), Timaya (an artist who always makes you want to get your dirty whine on), and Lynxx and R2Bees (a fantastic pairing of talent and musical genius).
The new mixtape is packed with some exciting new music from some of Nigeria's top musical acts, with most of the songs coming from new and upcoming underground artistes. The quality is simply outstanding and the mix itself is easily downloaded FREE from the website. You will also find the previous music collections there. This is a great opportunity to build up your contemporary collection of African artists and learn more about the new African music scene.
