Listed are seven green spring cleaning trends, and where to find them.
Seventh Generation: This green cleaning product company makes various green products, including laundry detergent and dish soap. Plus, they disclose all the ingredients in each product, so consumers know exactly what they are getting. Click on the link provided to visit their website.
Bio Green: This product can be used full strength to remove adhesives, or diluted for general cleaning purposes. It can be used to clean appliances, countertops, floors, bathtubs, furniture, wood and more. Visit the provided website to learn more about Bio Green's cleaning product.
Simple Green: Simple Green sells both household and industrial strength cleaners. There are all-purpose wipes, sprays, carpet cleaners and even a green cleaner for your car. There are products for the kitchen and bath, kids and pets, laundry and more. See their website for their full line of products.
Vinegar: Vinegar is an all-purpose cleaner that can be found in the typical kitchens. It is a disinfectant for kitchen counters, floors, coffee pots and nearly anything. It can be used full-strength or diluted; it does have a bitter smell, so it may be a good idea to open up the windows.
Tea Tree Oil: This essential oil can actually be more effective in sanitizing the bathroom than most commercial cleaners. To use, mix one part oil to eight parts water in a spray bottle; spray on surfaces and wipe down. Tea tree oil can be purchased at any health store or even in some grocery stores.
Hydrogen Peroxide: Rather than risk your health by using bleach, which can cause allergic reactions in some people, why not use hydrogen peroxide as a healthier whitening alternative. It is a household staple that can be found in most grocery stores and retail chains.
Lemon Juice: Lemon juice leaves a fresh, clean citrus scent after finishing up the cleaning. It can be used as a disinfectant, and it can be used as an air freshener. Just slice a whole lemon and leave it on a shelf in the refrigerator. Lemon juice is available to purchase at most grocery stores.

Post a CommentAnother superb job Tonya on your article "Treating Headaches with Reflexology" but since it was a Health article I am commenting here. I get a lot of headaches and this was useful for me. Thank you.
I use vinegar for everything, but I love the idea of using Tea Oil as an alternative -- bet it smells nicer too!
Superb job on this Tonya. Anything that is better for the environment and is natural is naturally better. PS, I suffer from Low Blood Sugar and read "Alternative Treatment for Hypoglycemia, or Low Blood Sugar" but since its a Health article, couldn't comment. Sterling work on that. Info that will really help me.
