In addition, because of its ability to repair and protect cells it can also prevent other cancers such as skin, ovarian, breast, prostate and gastrointestinal cancers.

Green tea gets rid of bad breath, defends against colds and flu, strengthens bones especially for those who have osteoporosis, regenerates a bad liver, and can reduce the harmful effects of smoking to the lungs. Weight can be lost and managed with habitual use of green tea. Because the cells of the body become more active more calories are burned. The more calories burned the more you will be able to burn off fat and maintain a healthy weight.
Prolonged life can be achieved through regular consumption of green tea. For example, one study was performed on 40,530 Japanese who were questioned over a period of 11 years. The conclusion of the study was that 16% have a better chance of living longer lives if they drink 5 or more cups of green tea per day.
The numerous benefits of regularly drinking green tea go on and on. Therefore, if you have certain ailments, would like to avoid the dreaded effects of flu season, or would just like to maintain a long healthy life take advantage of the amazing effects of drinking green tea.
