My five year old son has recently become very aware of recycling and other environmentally friendly practices. When I showed him the Indoor Gardening Kit from Green Toys he was really excited. When we talked about the company and how they make their toys he was beside himself. Both kids (and dad!) had a great time with the kit. I think it's really important to do something like this with your kids. We seized the opportunity to do something fun while we talked about recycling, the process of making the toys, and why it's good for the environment. And, now that my son knows what is done with the milk jugs we use he is even more adamant about recycling.
Green Toys has a nice collection of toys to choose from. From the dump trucks to the kitchen sets, all of the toys look like they would be a big hit with a very wide age range. The classic look of the toy collection is somehow more eye-catching than the flashy toys I've seen elsewhere. Green Toys are sleek and simple. They are also made with lead-free paint.
This wonderful company has managed to combine things that are important to parents, kids and our environment all in one perfect set of toys. If more toy companies would think like Green Toys, our world would not only be a cleaner place but, it would be a lot more fun!
