Green Works Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner Review

There are many things that everyone should be doing in order to save the earth. One of these things is to use cleaners that are better for the environment. Many manufacturers have started to make these products. One brand that is offering safer products is Clorox. When I was at Wal-Mart I decided to look in the cleaning aisle to see what they had to offer. I looked at the vast variety and found on in particular that I wanted to try. This was Green Works Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner. This is made by Clorox and is a multipurpose cleaner. I chose to purchase this Green Works product because it would be one that I could try on many cleaning tasks.

I bought the bottle and when I was cleaning then used it to clean my front storm door. It is actually an all glass door other than the metal frame. It was very dirty because my outside dog always scratches at it and smears her wet nose all over it. Needless to say it is always smudged! I sprayed the door generously and started to wipe. It cleaned the door with the Green Works product and found out that this does work as a glass cleaner but not a very good one. It smeared; you could not wipe enough to get the streaks off. I eventually gave up as using it as a glass cleaner. I then decided to use it to clean my countertop in the kitchen. I sprayed again generously and then wiped with a paper towel. This time the product did work. It did make it easier to clean.

I will not give up on natural cleaners yet, they have not been on the market that long and some may need a little improvement. Overall I have to say that I would buy the Green Works Glass and Surface Cleaner again, but I will only use it as a surface cleaner.
