It is a quiet subdivision made up of 3 cul-de-sacs with no means for through traffic. It is without question why the main road is called Quiet Brook Court. The subdivision has large sidewalks throughout the entire community on both sides of the road, even in each cul-de-sac. The lots are fairly large with overgrown trees that provide privacy and a sense of nature despite the nearby neighbors. Each street is well lit in the evening with streetlights in close proximity of each other. The streets in the subdivision are well maintained and the residents appear to take good care of their yards.
You can live anywhere in St. Charles County and pretty much know your child will receive a good education in a safe environment. If you live in the Greenfield subdivision and have children, they will attend one of the schools in the Francis Howell School District. Francis Howell is one of the best school districts in the greater St. Louis area.
The boundaries may change with time and the excessive growth of St. Charles, but currently the schools for Greenfield subdivision are Harvest Ridge Elementary, Barnwell Middle, and Francis Howell North High School.
While most subdivisions have some sort of detractor or bad point, this community makes it difficult to find. There is very little turnover in this subdivision, which says to me the residents are happy where they live and don't want to move or they can't sell their homes for some reason. I think in this case, the first reason stands true. You won't seem many for sale signs in this community.
The location is also very central. If you look at a map of the surrounding area, the main intersections where shopping is located would be Zumbehl and 70 or 70 and Cave Springs. Since the subdivision is located so close to Highway 70, you can pretty much get anywhere in St. Charles, St. Peters and the surrounding area in minutes. Even down town St. Louis is only 35 minutes away.
