Gretchen the Cheater; Gretchen Rossi of the Real Housewives of Orange County

The recent reunion of The Real Housewives of Orange County reality TV starlets opened up a whole can of worms for Gretchen Rossi. During the TV reunion, Tamra called out Gretchen for her lies regarding her relationship with Jeff, as well as Gretchen's cheating ways. Tamra did not name names, but the internet did all the work for her, showing Gretchen to be a cheating gold digger.

Gretchen Rossi was portrayed on The Real Housewives of Orange County as a fiancee of Jeff Beitzel, a multimillionaire. The relationship of 31 year old Gretchen and 54 year old Jeff could have been possible in the Hollywood reality. A hot Gretchen and rich Jeff would be a match made in Hollywood heaven, if it were not for cheating rumors and Gretchen's money grubbing ways. During the show, the news came that Jeff was suffering from leukemia and was undergoing cancer treatment. The treatments required Jeff to be in the hospital, sometimes for weeks or months at a time. Gretchen was shown on The Real Housewives show as taking care of Jeff, being by his side at the hospital and also partying heavily while Jeff was hospitalized.

Jeff Beitzel sadly passed away September 2008, weeks after The Real Housewives of Orange County season wrapped up. Gretchen, believed to be his fiancee at the time was said to have been devastated.

After Jeff's sad passing and the season's end, rumors started circulating that Jeff and Gretchen were not what they seemed to be in. In fact, stories came out that Jeff and Gretchen broke up months prior and were not engaged. Also, rumors came out that Gretchen was being paid to take care of Jeff, not as his fiancee but as his caretaker.

The devastating news came that Gretchen cheated on Jeff, and had an affair with Jay Photoglou. Jay Photoglou is the man that Tamra claimed called her one night to fess up about their affair. Tamra claimed that Jay called her late one night, after he was upset with Gretchen. Photoglou also claimed that Gretchen and he were in a relationship during the entire taping of the season.

In an exclusive interview with the National Enquirer, Jay Photoglou admitted that he was Gretchen Rossi's boyfriend.

"She told me she used to date Jeff, but they were no longer intimate. He was diagnosed in December 2007 and asked her to nurse him back to health. Gretchen's only job was to take care of him."

Gretchen responded to Jay's claims by calling the entire cheating rumor ridiculous. She did admit that they dated, before she started dating Jeff. She denied cheating on Jeff with Jay.

Gretchen has had to endure a lot of criticism and rumors after the show ended. Part of it was her own doing, by portraying herself on the show as caring more about what she received from Jeff than their "love". Fans of the show recall Gretchen receiving a $68,000 ring from Jeff, and during the episode seemed to care more about her new bling than the fiancee she had in the hospital.

There is also criticism of Gretchen receiving a red Harley Davidson motorcycle at the season's final episode taping. Jeff was in the hospital during the taping, but had presented Gretchen with the new motorcycle. Her reaction and response to the motorcycle gift left a lot of people bitter. Especially considering that Jeff died several weeks after the season ended.

Pictures of Gretchen partying, and even images of her and Jay have been posted online. There are also photos showing Gretchen with a tattoo on her ring finger. The image of Gretchen's tattoo is not clear but the name could be Jay or Jeff.

On her official website, gretchenrossi.com, Gretchen posted a eulogy she wrote for Jeff and read at his funeral. While it is difficult to criticize a eulogy, the posted words seem to be about a friend and not a fiancee. Draw your own conclusions, but it does seem that Gretchen and Jeff's relationship is not what they made it out to be.
