Grey's Anatomy Writers: A Fun Bunch

Almost a year after it's debut, Grey's Anatomy is still going strong. Destined to be a hit from the beginning, it's drama-filled storylines have kept viewers returning week after week to catch up on the lives of America's hottest medical interns. With a team of writers that is as colorful as the characters they have created, the show never experiences a dull moment.

Besides writing the script for one of the best primetime dramas currently in production, the show's writers also maintain a blog on the show's official website. Each week, the writer of the most recent episode posts his/her thoughts about the episode. Among them is the show's creator and executive producer, Shonda Rhimes.

Viewers and fans have the opportunity to reply to the writers' posts among other options. The website features a
Nurse's blog, which dishes the latest Seattle Grace gossip through the eyes of the hospital's nurses. Also, the interns' favorite bartender, Joe from the Emerald City Bar, has his own blog. Joe's blog gives viewers just a little bit more insight into the lives of his patrons. Afterall, Joe hears a lot.

As if all of that were not enough, viewers have the chance to learn about the medical conditions featured in their favorite episodes, read FAQ answers from Shonda Rhimes, and check out blog entries from the show's music supervisor. One really cool feature is the file cabinet that contains a little bit of personal information about the characters. Some files have newspaper clippings, some have evaluations, and one has a note telling the snooper to get back to work. Can you guess who?
