Grief Support Group Online Finding Help for Grief Online

One of the hardest things in life is dealing with problems alone when you have nobody to speak to. Many people have friends that are not willing to held a helping hand and others have friends that are just to busy with their own problems to listen. It can be hard to deal with problems when you have nobody to speak to and you are left to handle things alone. Life is hard for many people, and having nobody there to listen can make happiness impossible and depression unavoidable. With the Internet becoming such a major part of our culture these days, there are many people around the world dealing with grief of all forms and the Internet allows them to connect and help others in ways that were previously impossible.

My first experience with online support groups came as a result of my grandfather passing away. My grandmother had been married to him for over 50 years and she became very depressed when he was no longer here. I decided to help her join Griefnet.org and she loved the experience. I helped her use the forum and it was very easy to post topics about any feelings of depression being experienced. The people are there for support and with the intention of relating and they helped my grandmother find peace in her life. Because of this forum and the people there, she is here today and she is able to find someone to speak to whenever she feels depressed about her loss. They also offer support for parents of twins, the loss of children, loss of a relationship, loss of a marriage, loss of a newborn and suicide. I would rate this site 5/5 because it is very helpful and nicely designed.

I have also used Okcupid.com for online grief support when I broke up with my boyfriend of four years. The people there allowed me to discuss anything on my mind and the hurt feelings that I had. The site was very helpful to me and I found it very easy to post topics and find help. If you have a relationship problem then I should suggest that you visit this website. This site only offers grief support for relationships and I would rate it 4/5 for usefulness. If you need support and need someone that is willing to listen then I suggest you visit one of these sites because they offer great online grief support.
