Ingredients:
1 Bottle of Balsamic Vinegar
6 oz of BBQ Sauce
6 oz of Cream Cheese
3 oz of Soy Sauce
2 tblsp of Garlic (Crushed)
1/4 cup of Milk
1/2 cup of Flour
1 tsp of Black Pepper
1 tsp of Kosher Salt
1 packet of Grilled Steak Seasoning
Preparations:
Mix Balsamic Vinegar, BBQ Sauce, Milk, Black Pepper, Soy Sauce, Garlic Salt and Steak Seasoning together in a bowl with a whisk.
Place Balsamic vinegar mixture in a saucepan and simmer on medium heat, stirring sauce occasionally. Slowly mix in 6 oz of Cream Cheese, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of flour and 2 tblsp of Crushed Garlic. Bring mixture to a slow boil.
Place 6 steaks in a container and pour the marinade over the steaks. Allow steaks to sit in marinade sauce for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, fill the bottom of a broiler pan with 2 cups of water and then use tongs to remove steaks from marinade and place them the broiler pan. Pre-heat oven to 400. Cover steaks with aluminum foil and place broiler pan in oven. Pour remaining Marinade sauce in a saucepan and bring to a simmering boil.
When steaks are fully cooked, remove from oven and then broiler pan. Pour out any liquid from the bottom of the broiler pan and mix with the marinade sauce. Pour marinade sauce in a serving cup to dip steak in.
Optional Ingredients
1 bunch spinach leaves
1 Onion (sliced)
1 package mushrooms (sliced or whole)
12-20 peeled baby carrots
1 Red Bell Pepper (sliced)
1 Yellow Bell Pepper (Sliced)
1 Green Bell Pepper (sliced)
Place optional ingredients over steak, cover with aluminum foil and broil until steaks are cooked.
BBQ Preparations:
Prepare Marinade mixture as outlined above. Place two steaks side by side in sealable container first.
Pour Marinade sauce over steaks until barely covered. Repeat the second and third step until all steaks are covered with Marinade sauce. Place container in the Refrigerator a minimum of four hours before grilling them on BBQ. Grill steaks on BBQ. Brush steaks with remaining sauce, turning steaks every five minutes until fully cooked and then serve.
To grill with vegetables. Place 1 steak in aluminum foil, pour a liberal amount of Marinade over steaks, place carrots, spinach, mushrooms and onions over steak and wrap aluminum foil and place on grill. You can also do this to cook individual steaks in the oven as well.
Serve with your choice of a Red Wine.
