G.R.I.P. Golf Wedges

Best Wedge for the Money

I writing a review of some of the best wedges I have ever used. The best part is you can get a set of three for less than the cost of one of the major OEM's wedges.

The G.R.I.P. Golf (Golf Research In Play) Spin Milled Wedges are cast from soft carbon steel used in the traditional forging process.

The faces are then milled perfectly flat with their grooves milled to ensure accuracy and consistency through the entire set of wedges.

G.R.I.P golf has been around for around a year now and have manufactured very high quality golf equipment for the average and beginning players. But being a golf pro, I was surprised at how well these wedges performed. The only issue I had with them was that I need to have them bent 2* upright from the factory standard and re-shaft them as they came a little flat and short to me. Once I got the clubs set up to my normal specs, shaft and grip combinations I fell in love with these babies!

They feature a clean tear drop shape that most golfers prefer. They have a black finish which have become very popular over the years because they will reduce the glare a golfer can have in their eyes during a sunny day.

I have been using these wedges over the course of this season and am still impressed with their performance. I have hit dozens of shots from almost every lie out there and they are by far the most predictable clubs I have ever used. The amount of spin you can put on the ball with these wedges are impressive also. It has made a world of difference around the greens and when I have to go at a tight pin placement. So far the wedges have worn very well, I feel I will still be able to get another season out of them before having to either replace them or see what else G.R.I.P. Golf has come out with by then. I am defiantly sold on their wedges.

The G.R.I.P. wedges are available in 52*, 56*, and 60*. They feature a soft rubber grip with a True Temper Dynalite shaft, a very good shaft choice for softer wedge shots 100 yards and in. G.R.I.P. wedges sell for at just under $50 per wedge and just under $100 for a whole set of three!

Give them a try, I am sure that you will love them!
