One of the delicious perks of the Grizzly Rose is the full kitchen they have for earlier visitors. They do have the standard bar food, but they also have juicy steaks and hamburgers. A lot of the regulars come to the Grizzly Rose for lunches as well during the week when it is mostly a restaurant.
The concert however are what sets this dance club apart. The Grizzly Rose is known to have popular country and rock stars put on concerts almost every Friday. Chris Cagle, Skid Row, and Terri Clark and just a few of the upcoming concerts. If there isn't a concert you pay 5 bucks at the door and 5 at the bar and drink drafts for free till 11. Tracy Byrd and Tracy Lawrence also have concerts set up for the fall. The tickets usually average around $20.00 which isn't bad for a good concert that encourages dancing.
They do have nightly drinking specials Tuesday through Sunday at most times. Thursdays are ladies night and you get to drink free from 8 - midnight. Wednesdays they also have free dance lessons and on Sundays it is a free for all because you can bring your kids, and many do! Everyone is allowed to get up and dance and have some fun.
If you are so inclined they can turn the Grizzly Rose into a banquet hall for marriages or any other special occasions. The wood pickets that panel the walls will lend a rustic charm. It fits 3000 people so you don't have to think small if you are having a get together. It is also conveniently located straight off I-25 making it difficult to get lost.
The great things about the Grizzly Rose is that they never lose sight that they are powered by the country crowd that falls upon in mass every night, they have yet to act too big for their britches. And the crowd is usually so very friendly and laid back even though there is usually so many people it still comes across as your neighborhood joint. This is a great place to go dancing, watch a concert, or even eat dinner making the Grizzly Rose a triple threat.
