Grouptune: Where You Can Find Great Deals on Christian Music

Amanda Furbeck
What is Grouptune? Simply put, Grouptune is a brand new music service which offers a 'group discount' to folks who are interested in Christian music. Grouptune refers to itself as the Groupon of music. Admittedly, it sounds slightly corny to me, but I always love a good deal. "Bargain" is practically my middle name!

How does Grouptune work? Visit www.grouptune.com and sign up. It's free! You can have the Grouptune deals sent to your email inbox, your Twitter feed, or your Facebook page. If you're not interested, just hit the delete button. Nothing will be automatically shipped to you and you don't have to pay any penalties if you don't buy. If you do like the offer, just click purchase and follow the easy instructions to download your music or to see when it will be delivered. It's that simple.

You don't get to pick and choose what to buy at Grouptune. Instead, you get notified about what is on sale for the week. Then, you can purchase it if you wish. Grouptune offers only one music deal each week. Once it expires, it's over. You can't get it back because they have moved on to a new deal.

For each friend you refer using your Grouptune link, you'll earn a dollar towards your next purchase. Your friend will earn a dollar towards their next purchase just for creating an account. It's easy and simple, and you don't get bombarded with emails begging you to buy stuff. You can even choose to give the deal as a gift to a friend or loved one. Just select "Give as a gift." and follow the purchase information.

What's the fine print? If not enough folks sign up for a particular deal, it might be cancelled. You won't receive your music, but you won't be charged either. You can help prevent this by sharing the deal with your friends and family. There is only one deal per week. It's not a lot of choices, but it is a start. You may only be able to purchase a single copy of a particular Grouptune; it all depends on the details of the deal being offered. The deals are promising, though. So far, many of them have been around fifty percent off the regular price of an album.

Who's been featured on Grouptune? Some large name artists have already appeared on Grouptune, despite its newness to the music scene. Artists like Israel Houghton, Aaron Shust, Natalie Grant, and Decyfer Down have been featured as a Grouptune. Keep your eye out for many more great artists coming soon, and feel free to contact Grouptune at http://grouptune.com/contact_us/ if you feel that your music should be featured on Grouptune.

I'm glad that I signed up for a Grouptune account. I love music, and I love to stay on top of what's hot and happening in the music world. I haven't made a purchase yet, but I'm hoping that Grouptune will make an offer that I can't refuse on a Christian band I love. Because I love a good deal almost as much as I love my music!
