Growing Flowering Tobacco in Your Houston, Texas Garden

Flowering Tobacco plants are an excellent addition to any Houston, Texas garden. Different varieties can grow to be as tall as four feet, and they will brighten your garden from spring through fall. Some varieties even bloom at night! The tubular flowers of Flowering Tobacco (which are usually white) are very fragrant and will bring hummingbirds to your Houston, Texas garden. You may also find varieties that blossom in pink, red, yellow or lavender. They do best when planted in morning sun or bright shade, and prefer soil that is well drained. Flowering Tobacco does very well in containers, making it a great choice for your Houston, Texas window boxes. It is also a great choice for moon gardens, as its flowers will reflect the moonlight. It will reseed itself in your garden, so you can enjoy its lovely flowers year after year. Perfume Deep Purple

Marshmallow
