Reflection: Are you growing in grace? As we get older we may start to look at and think about things differently in life. Things that used to bother us or concern us, don't seem as important anymore. As we mature and spend time with God he will give us more grace to endure through difficult and uncertain times.
Grace is the empowerment through the Holy Spirit to walk out the word of God in your life. As you mature & walk with God he will give you more grace so that you can have victory in your life & bear more fruit for his kingdom. He says that even when we are old and gray that we will still bring forth fruit and be full of spiritual vitality & trust, love and contentment! So the next time someone thinks that you need to re-tire, tell them you are RE-FIRING and that the devil ain't seen nothing yet!
Psalm 92:14 [Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment].
Psalm 71:9-11 Cast me not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent and my powers fail. 10For my enemies talk against me; those who watch for my life consult together, 11Saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and persecute and take him, for there is none to deliver him.
