Growing Old Gratefully

Mary E. Coe
Learning to grow old gratefully, don't let that smile fade away

Enjoying life to the fullest, exercise, have fun, don't forget to pray

A road we all must travel,if we are so blessed, may wake up to be 90, one day

Remember life is what we make it, aches and pain, just part of the game

No need for regrets, too many candles on that birthday cake! no shame!

Imagine a world with no maturity, no wisdom, no leader for the youth

No one wants to grow old, no one wants to die young, that's the truth

Give thanks to God for the golden years, the chance to grow old gratefully
