Growing Sprouts for More Physical Energy
Adding Supplements While Growing Your Greens Can Make Them Even More Nutritious
Growing sprouts is easy though. These days you can buy little sprouting kits that include the sprouting trays, seeds and everything you need to get going with it. Some are even totally automatic, such as the ez-green sprouter, it is almost as easy as, set it and forget about it, you can even grow several trays of sprouts at a time. I do have to warn you though, growing sprouts is addicting and once you get to taste your product I doubt very much that you will be running to the store to buy them any more.
Sprouts that you buy in the stores can be expensive and many times lacking quality and nutrition. But the sprouts you grow at home will be of higher quality and you can even add supplements to the water to make them even more nutritious. If you try sea weed powder you will notice that your sprouts will be sweeter and more flavorful when you feed the plants this nutrient. Also, I like to use filtered water to grow my sprouts. You will really notice the difference in the taste of your sprouts if you use filtered water for rinsing or filling your automatic spouter. You will have fresher and higher quality sprouts than what you can buy in the stores because they will be grown in your own kitchen with your loving care and you can harvest them when you feel like eating them. How much fresher can you get?
Hydro-ponic growing of sprouts is very easy and rewarding. Even if you just want to grow a small amount of sprouts you can grow them in your own kitchen in jars. Not only will you notice an increase in energy when you start growing and eating your own sprouts, but you will sleep better also. Don't take my word for it though, try it yourself. Start growing your own sprouts at home, it's a great way to always have fresh, healthy food in your house.
