Meadowbrook Golf Course is a 9-hole (par 35) semi-private course in Wellsburg, Iowa. This course was built on rolling terrain, so there will be some uneven lies. The fairways are wide and tree lined. Water hazards come into play on four holes, and sand bunkers on nearly every hole. The greens are small, flat and generally slow. Meadowbrook is open from April 1 to October 31 and offers green fees for $20 or less.

The Oakwood Public Golf Course in Conrad, Iowa offers narrow fairways and water hazards. The bluegrass fairways are tree-lined on this picturesque course. Yardage is 5,932 from the white tees and 5,292 from the red for a par 70 course. Their season runs from March 1 to November 1.

The Town and County Golf Club is located in Grundy Center, Iowa. This 9-hole "Town and Country" course features 3,337 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36 It was designed by Van Ean-Vufkirk & Cook and opened in 1967. Watered fairways were installed in 2002, which adds greatly to the beauty of the course. The clubhouse has a bar, kitchen and dining room which seats approx. 125 people and may be rented for many different types of events. Green fees are $12.00 with a member (plus tax) and $17.00 without a member (plus tax). Cart rental is also available.

The Oak Leaf Country Club is located in Reinbeck, Iowa. This 9-hole course has no sand bunkers, dogleg fairways or grass bunkers. The bluegrass fairways are tree lined and water hazards come into play on seven holes. The green fees are good for all-day play and are $20 or less. IT is a private course, so the guest policy is closed. Their season is April 15 to October 15 yearly. The Championship yardage is 5,998, regular yardage is 5,818, and the lady's tee yardage is 5,464. It is a par 70 course.

The Fox Ridge Golf Course in Dike, Iowa offers 18 holes of challenging hills, bunkers, and water hazards. Green fees range from $14 for weekdays to $28 for weekend days. There are junior rates as well as senior rates available. Carts are available for rental, and there is an all day special before 2 pm on weekdays. Season passes are available for families, seniors, college students, juniors, and the driving range. Lessons are available from Joe Hawkins, who is Fox Ridge's PGA Teaching Professional.
