There have been so many times when a guy wants to talk to a girl but she is surrounded by her friends, or she is out on the dance floor giving you the eyes but you turn back to your beer instead of strutting out onto that dance floor like you own the place. Ask her lots of questions and don't let her start talking about things you don't know about. Switch the subject back to her, keep smiling and make her think that you're totaling absorbed by her stories of her kitten named muffin.

Take charge- When you walk up to a woman in a group, you need to remain calm and breath slowly. You have to remember that you are now in charge of this group and they are all looking at you to see if you have the metal to take their silent stares. Fight back with engaging them in conversation right away. Be pleasant, nice, ask them if they are having a good time tonight, then look to the girl that you have your eyes on and ask her if you might be able to talk to her one on one for a minute. You will probably get a lot of smiles and giggles, but just act the gentlemen. If you look good in the eyes of her friends, you stand a lot better chance of dating this girl.

Produce options- Always have a few options prepped in the back of your head. You may not be the best dancer in the world, but go out on that dance floor and walk up to the girl that is giving you the eyes. Tell her that you're not much of a dancer but you would like to buy her a beer when she gets thirsty. If she insists you stay, then lose her, she doesn't really want you anyway, she's just looking for someone to dance with and is only using you to make her look better.

You don't care if you talk to this girl or not because, you are confident and you know that another girl will be coming along any time now.
