Throughout the course of my week, even when days go by that I miss certain television programs, I generally enjoy the humorous recap that The Soup provides. Admittedly, some of the humor may be in slightly poor taste, but then again laughter is the best medicine.
Okay. Let's face it. Adults really can be pretty funny, and most of us have moments when we take ourselves way too seriously. With two small children, I often take myself too seriously. It is sometimes a struggle to search for the funny moments to help get me through my day.
My struggle has forever been ended thanks to Tyra Banks and her guest appearance on Sesame Street!
Today on Sesame Street, Tyra Banks helped define the word "Struggle" through acting it out.
Tyra tries to get herself into a Big Bird yellow sweater and she "struggle, struggle, struggle, struggles" to do so.
Watching Tyra struggle to put on the Big Bird yellow sweater is just hysterical! Tyra's antics are complete with facial expressions, gestures, grimaces, and the works that are all so characteristically Tyra.
Particularly, since the yellow sweater really looks more like a too small yellow t-shirt, the struggle is a delight to watch. I found myself laughing out loud and I simply couldn't stop!
At first, I couldn't believe Tyra actually agreed to do something like that. Then, on second thought, yeah I could believe it. Somehow, this seems like something that is so uniquely and perfectly suiting for Tyra. I'm not sure anyone but Tyra could have pulled off this "struggle" in anywhere near as entertaining a fashion!
The Soup may have some great clips of Tyra's finest moments, but the greatest Tyra moment I've ever seen, by far, was randomly found as I enjoyed what my kids were watching!
Tyra showed Sesame Street audiences everywhere the struggle of how to put your arms through the armholes on a Big Bird yellow sweater and my toddler and I just love it!
Not only is my toddler circling around our living room trying to pull off his own shirt, he successfully pulled off his brother's onesie so he could play "struggle" too!

Hilarious!
I'm not surprised that Tyra Banks would do this for Sesame Street--she's a great sport and I think she's hilarious! I'm just sorry I missed this one with the kids. :)
