Whether you are looking for a very scary haunted house or a spooky children's activity, you will find at least one or two good ideas right here!!!
Now if you are looking for a haunted house to explore I would recommend "The Edge of Hell" which is considered one of the best haunted houses in America. "The Edge of Hell" is the oldest haunted house that you can visit in Kansas City. Admission into "The Edge of Hell" is $20 and it is open every Friday night during September at 8:00pm and every Saturday night at 7:30pm. "The Edge of Hell" is also open on Thursday, September 28th at 7:30pm. During the month of October you can visit "The Edge of Hell" every Thursday and Friday night at 7:30pm, every Saturday night at 6:30pm, every Sunday night at 7:00pm and will have a few extra nights during the week before Halloween for you to visit. "The Beast" is another haunted house located in Kansas City. "The Beast" first opened in 1991 and has been given the title of "Largest Haunted House" in America. With an open format "The Beast" is well known for scaring people as they roam through the frightening scenes. You will definitely want to go with a group so you don't get lost inside. "The Beast" is located very near to "The Edge of Hell" and has the same hours of operation. You can also purchase a ticket to visit both haunted houses for the price of $33 and experience double the fright. Now on to a few activities the whole family can enjoy during this Halloween season. In order to enjoy a few of the attractions you will need to travel just a bit, but it will definitely be worth it in the end.
Starting in September and running through October you and your family can visit Atchison, Kansas which is considered one of the most haunted towns in Kansas. In Atchison you will find activities that include Tombstone Rubbings, Psychic Readings and Haunted Trolley or Walking Tours.
