Guide to Atlantic City Casinos
Neighborhood: Atlantic City
Atlantic City, NJ 08401
United States of America
Atlantic City is a hot vacation destination for many. Every year travelers from around the world flock to Atlantic City in pursuit of a fun filled vacation. Knowing what Casinos to visit and what other destinations to check out can make your vacation much more satisfying. Growing up about an hour from Atlantic City has given me inside knowledge of which casinos are best and why they are superior to their competition.

Harrah's Hotel and Casino
This casino has been around for a long time and many people are loyal to it. Harrah's is a popular destination for many New Jersey residents and Seniors. It is low key, clean and has superb service. Harrah's isn't located on Atlantic City's world famous boardwalk, which can be either a negative or positive depending on how you look at it. Being away from the boardwalk takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the heavier trafficked areas. However, many like being on the boardwalk, because you are centrally located to several other casinos. Harrah's does offer a shuttle to the boardwalk to remedy this problem, so if you like the quieter setting this is the perfect place for you.

Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa
This fairly new and flashy establishment is best known for it's draw of the younger crowd. Many people enjoy Borgata's nightlife, because of its Vegas like feel. Borgata is also known for its fine dining and excellent shows. The draw backs to the Borgata are few. Many complain that the level of service is inconsistent. However, most people don't find that the service is bad enough to detract from the exciting atmosphere. Others may find that the average crowd is to young for them. Over all though this is one of Atlantic City's finer casinos.

Caesars Atlantic City
Caesars Atlantic City is probably one of the most popular casinos in Atlantic City. The architecture alone is worth a visit to Caesars. This hotel and casino is beautiful and it's conveniently located on the world famous boardwalk. Caesars is truly a casino for everyone. This casino draws people from all age groups, so everyone is comfortable there. One feature that is enjoyed by many visitors is that location on the boardwalk. Caesars is right in the heart of the boardwalk action and is connects inside to Bally's Wild Wild West casino. Not to many complaints come after a visit to Caesars. It's clean, the food is great and it's location is superb. Casino goers couldn't ask for more.

Trump Taj Mahal
When most people think of Atlantic City, they think of Donald Trump. The Trump Taj Mahal is truly one of Trump's crowning achievements. The Taj Mahal is not only beautifully designed and decorated, but it is centrally located on the world famous board walk. This casino tends to be more popular with the senior set, but does have a good amount of young visitors as well. The Taj is clean, has great security and has excellent accommodations. This hotel is popular with many families staying in Atlantic City, because it is steps away from the beach and has a nice pool.

Recreation
Atlantic City is good for more than its exciting Casinos. There is much more to do in this popular city than meets the eye. If you enjoy historic locations, the Absecon Lighthouse is a must see. The staff is friendly and informative, plus you can actually climb the lighthouse. Kids will enjoy the Ocean Life Center. This marine biology center has aquariums, exhibits and tours at reasonable rates. Naturally, when you visit Atlantic City you must spend time on the boardwalk. Visit the Steel Pier, ride the rides and play some games. Don't forget to get some salt water taffy and fudge.
