While shopping for the basic back to school items, many times it is easy to forget the basics. Children of all ages from elementary to high school all grow so fast over the summer. Having properly fitting underwear and socks can help clothes fit better. Have you shopped for the basics?

Undershirts

School buildings are known to be chilly. A few packs of shirts are great layering pieces. Under shirts come in a variety of styles, from sleeveless to short sleeves. Girls need to have camisoles, they can be purchased in packs, or individually. If your girl is older, and wears bras, look for camisoles with a built in shelf bra. Layering during the colder months, or while indoors can help to manage the cold without wearing a sweater.

Bras

Back to school is the perfect time to be fitted for a new bra. Many young ladies seem to blossom during the summer vacation. Choose a professional bra fitter with experience too help you. Larger department stores with extensive lingerie departments have people to assist you. Once you have the correct size, you can start to bargain shop for the best deals.

Underwear

Underwear that is too tight or small they may immediately tell you, but they will be uncomfortable during the school day. It is better for
underwear to be a little bit to big than too small. If you child is in between sizes, always go up to the next size.

Socks

Look for styles that go with the type of shoes your child wears most often. If your child plays competitive sports, get several pairs of socks that keep moisture away. If your daughter loves ballet flats buy trouser socks in different colors and styles. These socks can be purchased in cute lengths that are meant to be seen. Such as above the knee length or right under the knee.

Being stocked on the basic items, can help you to have more time in the mornings. Being completely comfortable at school while learning is very important. Use these tips above and plan to shop for at least two full weeks of underwear and socks.
