I also grew up on Price Hill, went to Elder and the Empress Burlesque where it all started. I now live in LA where there is no Cincinnati chili. Is there some way over the phone or internet to buy canned Empress or Dixie or , at least buy their packets of mix ?

I've said this elsewhere, but I'm not convinced there's a huge difference in the chili. So I go for the experience. Price Hill Chili gets my vote for the atmosphere--old fashioned working class Catholic West Side neighborhood feel. A real blast from the past. For the full experience, go on a football Friday!!
