Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner, $24
The Lancome Le Stylo eyeliner is one of the best waterproof eyeliners I have tried yet. The eyeliner itself comes in seven different shades with a smooth, creamy texture. There is no need to use a sharpener because the Lancome eyeliner comes with a twist tip that keeps the liner sharp for every use.
As a waterproof eyeliner I have never had a problem with running or smudging no matter what environment or situation I am in. The eyeliner goes on dark and leaves a strong, vibrant color that you will not have to reapply. Once on water alone won't take it off, but a good eye makeup remover works easily.
Urban Decay Lingerie & Galoshes for Lashes, $17
I have to admit, I was first attracted to this tube of Urban Decay mascara because of the cute packaging, but I soon found out that the mascara was good as well, especially with the clear waterproof layer. Each tube of the mascara has two sides to it, the first Lingerie is the actual mascara primer that is light, but adds enough color and lift for every set of lashes. The other side of the tube has Galoshes for Lashes which is the clear waterproof formula that is applied to your lashes over your mascara.
The primer is also lightweight so your lashes do not feel or appear to be over applied, but you do need to wait to apply till the mascara is completely dried or you will just be brushing it off. Unlike other waterproof mascaras this Urban Decay combo does not smudge or run even a little, and that includes trips into saltwater and chlorinated water.
Too Faced Liquif-Eye, $18
This neat little product is fun to use and convenient in a pinch or when you want to do a little experimenting. Liquif-Eye lets you take any color eye shadow you own and turn it into a waterproof eyeliner with the help of a felt tip pen and the Liquif-Eye formula. To easily make your own waterproof eyeliner from eye shadow, dip the felt pen into the liquid and then apply in a straight line like you normally would apply eye liner.
While Liquify-Eye can significantly increase your eyeliner collection, which is only limited by the number of eye shadows that you own, there are a few tricks to using the product. First, Liquif-Eye only works with powder based eye shadows, and absolutely will not take to cream or liquid based products. Because of the way the liquid works it is best to remove some of the eye shadow that you want to use from the main palette so that the liquid is not absorbed by the rest of the powder. Finally, you can apply the liner as light or dark as you want by reapplying.
