Guide to Buying NASCAR Tickets

How to Get the Best Deals on NASCAR Tickets

Jake James
Alright racing fans, the NASCAR season is underway and I've got the guide to help you find those hard to get tickets. Whether you want to sit in the last row of the bleachers or be so close it feels like your standing on pit row just follow this guide and you'll be sure to find the NASCAR tickets you want and for a discount. So with that said, let's go racing!

By far the easiest and quickest way to find tickets is online. Here are a couple of places to search to get your paws on whatever you want for less than the ticket office will charge. Let's start off with StubHub!. This is a website where people can buy and sell any type of ticket online. You buy directly from another person at their set price. They will have any kind of ticket you want and you can normally find package deals if you want tickets for the whole weekend for a good discount.

Another good website is Ticketmaster. Just search for the NASCAR event you want then enter the number of tickets you desire and the location you want to sit. They have maps of the track so you can figure out exactly where you want to sit. Ticketmaster generally will be slightly pricier than other websites, but it's a great way to get tickets quickly.

NASCAR Cheap Tickets is another great place to search, especially for packaged deals. They have all the races listed on the front page. Just click on the race you want to attend and a list of deals will come up. The great thing about this website is they have good prices on package deals including ticket and hotel combos.

The last online method of ticket buying to check out is eBay. Here you are bidding on tickets against other people like in an auction. This is the best way to get tickets cheap; however it is riskier because if you don't win the bid you don't get the tickets so get on this in advance. Some of the tickets up for bid will have a "Buy it Now" option. So if you see tickets up for auction that you want and the price looks good you can just buy the tickets instantly and not bother with the auction process.

Note that for all these online ticket buying methods you will need a debit or credit card to make your purchase. Be sure to shop around these websites and find the best deal that suite you.

Perhaps my personal favorite way to get tickets is through radio contests. If you have a NASCAR event coming to your town just listen to the local sports radio shows about a week in advance and they should be giving away tickets. They normally ask a NASCAR trivia question and you call in and answer. If you get the answer correct the tickets are yours. Best of all they are absolutely free and generally consist of 2-4 tickets so you can take your family of friends. This is very risky if you don't have tickets already so what I like to do is buy tickets from one of the websites listed above in advance then try to win additional tickets through the radio contest. If I win then I resell my tickets online and keep the tickets I won. This is a good way to hedge the risk and whether you win or lose you still get to enjoy the racing event.
