Tickets and Season Passes
Tickets are on sale now for the 2009 season starting at $46.99 for a general admission pass and $52.99 for a 2-day pass. Order your tickets in advance online and save $10 off front gate prices. Tickets for persons under 48'' or 62 years or older run for $21.99 and children under the age of two get in free. Twilight passes are also available for admission after 4 p.m. for the price of $25.99.
Season passes run from $79.99 to $160 depending on whether you want a V.I.P or Platinum Pass. Both offer great benefits and free parking. This is a great way to save money if you intend on visiting Carowinds multiple times this summer.

Must-See Attractions
Carowinds offers fun for the whole family, but there are some attractions around the park that are a must- see during your visit. For those thrill-seekers the Afterburn, Carolina Cyclone, and the new Carolina Cobra are for you. They provide speed, spins, and large vertical drops surely to give anyone that ultimate adrenaline rush.
A great family-friendly ride to check out is the Carolina Goldrusher, a wooden coaster ride offering great adventure. If you're looking to get a little wet with the family some must-see rides are Rip Roarin' Rapids and WhiteWater Falls.
During your trip you're sure to work up an appetite and Carowinds offers more than 30 restaurants and snack stands. At Beach Bites you can cure your hunger with pizza, hot-dogs, and ice cream. Another great restaurant is Country Kitchen, where you can get chicken, chili-cheese fries, pulled pork, and an array of salads.

Carolina Cobra
Carowinds new attraction this 2009 season is the Carolina Cobra. The Cobra is a forward and backward thrill ride with a 120 foot vertical drop and a 360-degree loop. The ride runs for 2 minutes and 12 seconds reaching speeds of 48 mph.

I did not find what I wanted. I want to find how old you have to be to ride some certaint rides at Carowinds, NC. I hope that I find it soon!
