Tuesday: College Night at Have A Nice Day Cafe, Waterside, Norfolk

Anyone will tell you that Have A Nice Day is the place to be on Tuesday nights in Norfolk. While it's a little less classy than Time on a Monday, Have A Nice Day is definitely a good time if you're trying to get down and dirty on a Tuesday night. Don't show up without your sense of humor, however, or you could be easily turned of.. Be prepared for silly competitions, loud DJs, and scantily clad beer tub girls. Watch out for the underage sailors and the occasional sketchy old guy. Drink of the night - Jello shots.

Wednesday: Red Hot Wednesday at Hot Tuna, Shore Drive, Virginia Beach

Happy Hump Day! Hot Tuna goes all out every Wednesday night with Red Hot Wednesday. The whole bar is transformed into a seductive scene with red curtains, red lights, red decorations and bartenders in red shirts. Not only does Hot Tuna have one of the best seafood menus in Virginia Beach, on Wednesday night, you can order any bottle of wine for half price all night. Whether you're dancing like a rockstar on stage or chillin' in a booth with your crew, you're sure to have a fine time any Wednesday night at Hot Tuna. It's a pretty small place though, so watch out for your ex-boyfriend! Drinks of the night - $4 martinis and $1 Coors Light bottles.

Thursday: Corona Light Night at Croc's, 19th Street, Virginia Beach

The weekend is closing in! Head out toward the beach and you'll find a laid back crowd starting the party a day early at Croc's in Virginia Beach. You can hear a live cover band at Croc's every Thursday night. Sing along and get your groove on out on the floor, or head out to the porch to chat it up with all your new friends. Hungry? Get there early and order a few appetizers - Croc's has great food! You can usually park for free in the WRV lot across the street. What to watch out for: Middle-aged women hitting on guys half their age! Drink of the night - $1 Corona Light bottles (while they last!).

Friday: Experience the Oceanfront, Virginia Beach

Fridays are a good time to get dressed up and head out to the beach. Some of the local favorite Friday-night hangouts are The Edge, Envy, Chicho's, Sandbar and Lunasea. If you're driving, you can head up to the brand new Hilton and check out Catch 31. Or, if you're still in the mood for dancing, there's always Peabody's! Fridays are crazy out at the beach, though, so please party responsibly. Watch out for police and DUI checkpoints! Drink of the night - Malibu & pineapple.

Saturday: Scotty Quixx, Guadalajara and Premiere, Granby Street, Norfolk

Get dressed up and socialize in class at Scotty Quixx in Norfolk. The bar has a trendy downtown feel and a festive atmosphere. This is where you'll find all the beautiful people on a Saturday night. Next, head across the street for a few drinks and Mexican delights at Guadalajara, where you'll find a jovial crowd. Make sure you get to Premiere by midnight, though, you'll want to spend enough time there to make it worth your cover charge. Premiere is Norfolk's newest, hippest dance club on Friday and Saturday nights. Located in the renovated Granby Theater, Premiere is modeled after the hottest nightclubs and venues in South Beach, Atlanta and New York. The sound system and lighting are definitely an experience. What to watch out for: Dress codes - no hats, shorts, dandals or athletic shoes! Drink of the night - Tanqueray & tonic.
